I don't see the point of making my bed in the morning. I'm just going to get right back in at night. Why create extra work for myself?

I so totally agree! I think this is a sign of intelligence and efficiency rather than a sign that we haven't grown up.

i was gonna say the exact same thing! only an idiot would make a bed that no one else is going to see for the whole day. besides if someone DID see my bed unexpectedly i would imagine that this would be a good problem to have and that your bed making habits (or lack thereof) would be the least of your new guest's questions about your character
